INFP: The Healer
INFPs see the world romantically, as do all NFs. INFPs see shades of both dark and light- lovely and fascinating, with dark forces hiding behind the shadows.
INFPs usually have a deep and rich personal value system which they hold dear to their heart. These values largely influence the INFPs self-image and identity.
INFPs see life as a quest. They seek the greater good, whatever meaning the term holds for each individual INFP. They are likely to be easily swept away by romance. They feel and love deeply, and can be deeply hurt by those they love.
An ability to see good in everyone, and a strong endurance for treating all God’s creatures with love and respect, may be visible in any INFP you may encounter. The INFPs caring nature and unconditional love runs deep; so much so that INFPs may seem to go out of their way to defend the “underdog,” whomever in their vicinity has the worst life situation. INFPs are identifiable by those who seek to comfort those down on luck, and especially those who others have shunned or tend to look down upon.
INFPs are vulnerable because of their strong love for the downtrodden. One downfall of the INFP is that their unconditional love and undying conviction, loyalty, and devotion in protecting and caring for those down on their luck may eventually, with enough time passing, create the unwanted effect of learned helplessness. The INFP is able to inspire the best in many, but if not careful may also inspire dependency. The INFP looks for depth in both friendships and in love. Dependency may be fostered as they tend to desire relationships with those more helpless.
