ENTJ: the FieldMarshal

ENTJs are independent individuals who do not seek to follow but instead live a life of leading. Sometimes the ENTJ is called the Supervisor of Supervisors. The ENTJ sees life at the birds eye view, and is well aware that from their perspective a group will benefit if they are in charge.

Because of the ENTJs inherent abilities and talent, the ENTJ typically assumes they should in fact be in charge in every situation. Of course, this poses some very obvious problems; the mature ENTJ learns to tame this great desire to lead to efficiency, toning it down for the benefit of getting along.

The preferred way of leading for the ENTJ is done in the name of efficiency at its finest. ENTJs are continually, without fail, seeking better ways of doing things- they seek the quicker way, the way that benefits the group the most. Their conversation style is direct; straightforward and to the point, it can hurt feelings but that is never the intention.

The ENTJ values in themselves competency above all else and will live a life in pursuit of it. They are unstoppable, sharing their views in the face of conflict and criticism. They are unaffected by such things. Against all odds, the ENTJ confidence prevails. This can be intimidating to others; again however, this does not change the ENTJs unstoppable march.

ENTJs think for themselves. They are not persuaded nor lead astray by soothsayers, nor by authority figures. ENTJs do not feel pressured by outside forces. They stay true to their direction and purpose, standing firmly and steadfastly.
