ENFP: The Advocate, The Champion
ENFPs are fun, whimsical individuals who love to generate ideas and interact with people. If ever a type was the quintessential comedian, its the ENFP. ENFPs have a gift for making those around them laugh. They seem to assume the responsibility of making sure everyone around them is having fun.
ENFPs find joy in everyday events, those others may not recognize as funny until the ENFP sheds light on the situation. As soon as the ENFP shares what life looks like from their hilarious perspective, everyone around can’t help but laugh- usually even those most serious.
The ENFP sees much of life as “chance,” and tend to look at even the misfortunes that life brings them. One word used to describe the ENFP is surely unconventional. OtherĀ types usually see the ENFP accurately as lovable, endearing, and although odd can relate to the ENFP somehow. This may be due to the fact that ENFPs have a penchant for relating their own bizarre, eccentric accounts of personal experiences to others in the form of human universals- it is because of the gifts of the ENFP that so many others feel they can relate.
ENFPs are easygoing and love to be around people. They are easily distracted and as a result can become distracted by new relationships, although they are terribly affectionate and loving in old relationships as well.
ENFPs will go to great lengths to voice their opinions, advocating for the causes which they hold near and dear. They are expressive in their conviction and will be blinded to social conventions and mores given any situation in which they see an opportunity to express their often different and extreme points of view. ENFPs side step rules and regulations on a regular basis as they see fit, if they believe its for a greater good.
